Ginecosan is a medicated powder,
when mixed with water forms a solution for feminine genital
hygiene.
The GINECOSAN formula is designed to provide active oxygen
to tissues with which the solution gets in contact and
over which the germs causing multiple feminine genital
infections are located.
The active oxygen goes through the cellular membrane of
the microorganisms, thus fighting its enzymatic system.
Additionally, GINECOSAN leaves a cationic residue of alkaline
reaction that makes the microenvironment hostile and helps
fighting the infection.
Additionally, its residual compounds have an antiseptic
action, which favors the elimination of microorganisms
that cause the infection.
The chemical reaction produces an effervescence that also
serves for removing organic detritus from hardly accessible
areas.
GINECOSAN is indicated as an auxiliary product for external
use in cases of unspecific leukorrheas, mycotic vaginitis,
trichomoniasis and vaginosis; in cases of vulvar conditions
of inflammatory characteristics; for genital hygiene and
care after operations and after giving birth; for daily
hygiene during menstrual period, and in any occasion when
an optimal private hygiene is desired.
